CTI Analyst - Sopra Steria
Cybersecurity is an always-on field, so you’ll stay advised of all the latest trends and compliance regulations and always be ready to conduct threat analysis, risk management, and incident response quickly and effectively. To stay on the front foot, our cybersecurity experts will be familiar with the latest security tools, implementing firewalls, and conducting vulnerability assessments.

A Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and countering cyber threats to protect an organization's assets and data. Their key tasks include monitoring and analyzing threat landscapes, recommending mitigation strategies, and producing concise intelligence reports. They collaborate with other cyber operations teams to understand events and support technical analysis of incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor internal and external landscapes for relevant events, risks, and threats related to malicious code, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
- Threat Intelligence Tools: Manage threat intelligence monitoring tools, product contracts, and relationships.
- Data Access Control: Evaluate, develop, test, and implement emerging data access control technologies and information systems security measures.
- 24/7 Monitoring: Provide round-the-clock monitoring of all information systems within the environment.
- Mitigation Recommendations: Recommend tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to mitigate identified malicious logic.
- Intelligence Reporting: Regularly produce concise written intelligence reports based on technical analysis and collected threat information.
- Collaboration: Partner with other cyber operations teams to understand events and support technical analysis of incidents.

You have knowledge and experience of the following:
- Experience: 7 years of experience in cybersecurity field, of which 3 years in TI
- GCTI, GOSI, CTIA, GDAT, ECSA certifications are an asset
- Knowledge of MISP Platform/Standards
- Cyber kill chain, Diamond Model framework
- Knowledge of intelligence Analyst Investigation tools (e.g., Maltego, Virus Total, ThreatQuotient, CounterCraft, …)
- Experience in scripting programming languages, e.g., Python is a plus
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering
Languages: Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch is a plus
