As a Senior Business Analyst, your role is crucial in ensuring that the business strategy aligns with the necessary changes to drive its realization. Your expertise in both business processes and the ICT application landscape allows you to effectively bridge the gap between Business Process Owners and SAP Functional Experts.

As a Business Analyst, your accountability lies in translating strategic objectives into tangible initiatives and overseeing their progress. Your ability to seek solutions that consider various stakeholders and span across process, organization, data, and application layers is crucial. Key words as enterprise architecture and transversal mindset are at the heart of Ypto’s expectation regarding this role. This approach ensures a holistic view of the business landscape and promotes effective decision-making.

In addition to the strategic translation into concrete initiatives, the Business Analyst is also expected to undertake typical business analysis tasks. These tasks include gathering business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements, writing blueprints, taking the lead in drawing test scenario's, facilitating the go-live process in all his aspects, and focusing on continuous improvements post-implementation. This diverse set of responsibilities underscores the multifaceted role of a Business Analyst in ensuring successful project outcomes and driving ongoing enhancements.

Manage Impact

  • Supporting business stakeholders at management level in translating their needs into concrete initiatives
  • The translation of business needs into high-level IT requirements that are further detailed by the functional analysts
  • The impact analysis on processes, organization and applications and objectification of possible SAP S/4 HANA solution alternatives
  • Analyzing the impact of phasing out ICT solutions/migration towards SAP S/4 HANA solutions on the business architecture
  • The translation of strategic business evolutions into concrete projects
  • Having a helicopter view on ongoing and future change on the business architecture
  • Supporting the business architecture team in promoting best practices

Champion of Change

  • Take responsibility for project management if the size of the project allows this to be done efficiently. Follow up of the translation of the requirements into the technical solution.
  • Taking the lead in the change process towards change managers and end users to ensure a smooth and transparent delivery.
  • Taking the lead in testing phases in preparation for the acceptance of new or changed ICT applications and solutions
  • Prepare documentation for end users.
  • Building sufficient technical knowledge about the applications within your domain in order to become a true internal stakeholder for the SAP FI/CO and FI/CA functional experts.

     

Profile

  • You have a master's degree or equivalent through experience
  • You have at least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience as a business analyst with a proven track record in complex environments
  • You have common ICT and business process analysis methods and you have in-depth knowledge of critical business processes
  • You can think strategically and conceptually and see opportunities
  • You are highly analytical, problem-solving and come up with suggestions for improvement
  • You have solid knowledge of project management
  • You are a good communicator who can easily enter into dialogue with the various stakeholders
  • You are pragmatic, proactive, customer and results-oriented
  • You speak Dutch or French. You have a good knowledge of English.
