In this role, you work closely with customers to drive the successful delivery of IT projects. You facilitate the management of scope for the customer’s requirements, plan implementations and deliver to the planned scope and budget.

You will be part of CCP (Commercial Channels and Products)-delivery organization. This domain encompasses the channels (front-ends) that SNCB uses for sales, after-sales and other services and its corresponding back-ends (Products). You will report to the business area lead of the domain.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery from beginning to end;
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
  • Define/follow up on KPI that measure business value creation of the project deliverables
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard;
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process;
  • Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards;
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
  • Ensure project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties;
  • Liaise with client (SNCB/MNBS) and IT Teams on an ongoing basis;
  • Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project and executes appropriate plans to mitigate them. Reports regularly to the Team Lead and Stakeholders with regard to risks,
  • Be a key member of the delivery organisation

Your profile

  • Overall software development experience of 8+ years
  • 2+ years of Experience working directly with Enterprise/Solution architects and/or customer organisations
  • Strong experience doing detailed designs for applications of similar technology stack
  • High level understanding of infrastructure, network and security components
  • Experience working with UML, Understanding of Archimate/ADOIT or a similar tool
  • Passionate about documenting and maintaining detailed designs
  • Able to quickly understand infra, network and security design of customer enterprise and align to their reference architecture and technology standards.
  • Actively keeping up with trends and developments in the field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Language skills - high proficiency in English
