As a Testing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead a team of testing professionals, providing central guidance, services, and establishing best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all software undergoes thorough and rigorous testing to meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of testing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members.
    • Ensure adequate staffing levels and skillsets to meet project demands.
       
  2. Testing Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans for each project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
    • Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to define testing scope, requirements, and success criteria.
  3. Quality Assurance
    • Establish and enforce testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects and teams.
    • Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, scripts, and scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
    • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  4. Risk Management
    • Identify potential risks and quality issues early in the SDLC, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and prevent future issues.
  5. Stakeholder Communication
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for testing-related matters, providing regular updates and status reports to project stakeholders, leadership, and clients.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing efforts and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Profile

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in English and at least French or Dutch with good understanding of the other language
